I haven't been updating the blog for a long time but obviously, that doesn't mean I didn't attend any learning activity. Actually, there were different learning opportunities. Here's a brief update about some of the seminars and courses I attended. 

One of the most engaging in terms of time was the one about dyslexia.

Anche quest'anno, anche se acciaccata e frebbricitante sono riuscita a terminare le splendide, anche se talvolta faticose, cinque settimane di "formazione professionale" offerte da EVO e la sua eccezionale comunità di esperti ed educatori che con generosità e pazienza trasferiscono le loro competenze a coloro che riconoscendone il valore aderiscono all'iniziativa formativa completamente gratuita.  

     

Finally, here I am. It was almost a year ago when I wrote my last post. That doesn't mean that I didn't attend any professional development course. On the contrary, I attended many of them, especially by eTwinning or Teacher Academy /School Education Gateway. To tell the truth, I was quite busy and I also became an eTwinning Ambassador. That means that I should organize learning events addressed to other teachers... Anyway, this topic deserves a separate place to be discussed! Now I'd like to report about my last professional development course which I have just started at school. It was ages since a professional update at school excited me so much. The course, organized by the schools of Torre Orsaia and San Giovanni a Piro in collaboration with the municipalities, and two cultural associations, is aimed at the discovery and utilization of the digital platform Mlol, the ministerial digital library.

New Look

After almost a whole day spent creating and solving quizzes, I'm changing the design of my Blog to make it more redable (I hope) and to give more space to the quizzes I created. Let's see if it works...

EVO 2018

Despite the first term assessment, which is keeping me busy at school, I’m currently engaged into two sessions of EVO (Electronic Village Online) which annually provides free professional development.  EVO is a set of online discussions and workshops that takes place from mid-January to mid-February. Sessions include a range from simple discussions to virtual hands-on workshops.
The sessions I’m attending, ICT4ELT and QR Codes in Action  are very interesting and useful. I’m so grateful to EVO Community for all the things I’ve been learning.

Professional updating is a must for 21st century teachers and there is a large number of seminar and courses offered by Universities, schools, educational agency and editors both on site and online, also for free.

Personally, I’m absolutely persuaded of its necessity; as a matter of fact I like attending courses and learning event and I’m always involved in one of them.  Sometimes it’s difficult not to left behind, especially when I start up something completely new or hard for me, but most times I successfully complete the activities and above all improve my competences.
